An official ID document (National Identity document or passport) and a justified reason are required to accredit applications for information and the direct consultation of documents.

Digital reproduction may be provided, the format and the state of the document in question allowing.

Limitations on the reproduction of documents arise from both current legislation and each library's internal norms regarding the preservation and correct use of the collection.

Applications for reproduction should be addressed to the Bibliographic Heritage Department (Negociado de Patrimonio Bibliográfico) of the General Library of Navarra, which shall then handle applications with private libraries and inform the researcher as to conditions and fees.

Authorisations for the reproduction of printed documents are only valid for one occasion.

All reproductions are subject to copyright, which researchers must respect.
