STATE REGULATIONS

• Royal Decree 301/2004, 20 February 2004, regulating books-registries and the statistics-accounting reports insurance brokers and brokerage firms must prepare.

• Economy Ordinance734/2004, 11 March 2004, on customer service departments and the clients’ Banking or Financial Ombudsman.

• Law 26/2006, 17 July 2006, on private insurance and reinsurance brokerage.

NAVARRA’S REGULATIONS

• Navarra’s Regional Decree 621/1996, 11 November 1996, on the jurisdiction of the Community of Navarra concerning private Insurance Brokerage.

• Navarra’s Regional Decree 49/1999, 22 February 1999, which amends the Regional Decree 621/1996, 11 November 1996, concerning the jurisdiction of the Community of Navarra on private Insurance Brokerage.

• Navarra’s Regional Decree 254/1999, 6 July, whereby insurance brokerage services transferred are ascribed to the Department of Economy and Finance.

• Resolution 73/2004, 28 May, issued by the General Directorate of Economic and Budget Policy. It deals with registries, statistics-accounting reports and customer service by insurance brokers authorised by the Government of Navarra.
