he following advanced search tips will help you search more efficiently:
- Search phrase (“”). Search documents that contain this exact wording or phrase.
Example: “Organic Law of Reintegration and Amelioration of the Charter Regime in Navarra” (The search engine will find documents where this exact phrase appears.)
- Search phrase (-). Search documents containing this exact wording or phrase.
Example: Organic-Law-of-Reintegration-and-Amelioration-of-the-Charter-Regime-of-Navarra (The search engine will find documents where this exact phrase appears.)
- Search one or more words (OR).
Example: vehicles OR cars (The search engine will find documents that contain either of these words or both.)
- Unwanted words ( -). Add a space followed by a minus sign.
Example: beer -tax (The search engine will find documents that contain the word “beer” but not the word “tax”.)
- Search words with the same first characters. Search documents containing words with the same first characters. You can type the wildcard character asterisk for this option, although it is not required.
Example: imp* or imp (The search engine will find words with “imp” as their initial characters: “important,” “imply,” “impose,” “implication,” etc.)
- Search words within a numeric interval (..). Search documents containing numbers within a numeric interval. Type the word you want to search and the numeric interval with two dots in between (“..”).
Example: tax 346..352 (The search engine will find documents containing the word “tax” plus a number within the interval.)
