José María Roig Aldasoro.
He was born in Tarragona the 15th of September 1952; he is married and has three children.
He has a doctorate in Chemistry by the University of Navarre and has a degree in Law by the Spanish National University for Distance Training (Universidad de Educacion a Distancia). Besides, he has a Master in Health Service Direction by the Public University of Navarre, a University Master in Public Direction and Management and a Master certificate in the Programme for Business Direction by the IESE Institute.
Public worker at the Government of Navarre since July 1982, between 1986 and 1987 he was appointed Responsible for the Environmental Health Service, and from 1991 to 1995, he was director of the Inspection Service Centre and of Sanitary Activities at the Health Department. Between 1995 and May 1999 he occupied a post as director of the Legal and Inspection Service of the Department of Social Welfare, and from that moment up to September 1999, he was the director general of Social Welfare. In September 1999 he was appointed director general of Employment, occupying that post up to 2007.
In August 2007 he was appointed councillor of Innovation, Business and Employment of the Government of Navarre.
