María Isabel García Malo.
María Isabel García Malo was born in Castejón on 5 November 1967. She is married and has two children. She has a Law Degree from the University of Navarre.
She completed her training with various courses in competence management, Logical Framework methodology in project design, social-labour guidance, personnel administration management and employment.
She began her professional career as a lawyer and, after three years’ work experience at the Federation of Professional Associations of Navarre and at the office of lawyer Jesús Fernández Lerga, she joined Fondo Formación where she coordinated the Infolan-Antenas de Empleo project.
In 2002 she took over the Navarre Promotion and Development Unit of the Chamber of Commerce and, from August 2003 to June 2006 she worked as managing director of the Navarre Employment Service.
The 12th of June 2006 she entered upon office as councillor of Social Welfare, Sports and Young People, and she is in charge of this Department, under the new name of Social Affairs, Family, Young People and Sports, once more.
